Coco's Carousel Ancient (1990-19992)Halloween Pix
Saga of the Pics
The saga of these pics is almost as impressive as "Butch's Watch" (Pulp Fiction). The camera was/is a Sony Mavica, the first they came out with - and its not a digital camera. Its an analog camera that recorded onto special floppy disk (think circular video tape). Anyways, there wasn't a way to view these pics without the camera. The camera broke. Sony charged me 65$ for the privilege of telling me they couldn't fix it. The only way to get my pics back was to buy another working camera. Thank god for eBay; 90$ later (yes, I'm a fool) and I could see the pics again (on a TV screen). Add a Mac (thanks G) with video digitizing capability and out comes digital pics.
Whats a Coco's Carousel?
Coco's used to be a bar in King of Prussia, PA at the King of Prussia Mall (The Plaza, for those in the know), right next to Sears. A bar is there to this day, but its not the same (gutted/remodeled) first called the Brew Moon, and now called Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery. Coco's was a very "Cheers-like" experience - Since there were so many regulars there was always somebody there you knew.
If somehow you chanced across this page by accident and have some pics from Coco's, I'll gladly add them to the gallery.
Note that I had (had???) a crush on Diane, thus the gallery may be heavily weighted with pix of her. Don't know where any of these people are today. As soon as I build a time machine I'm going back and slapping my ass silly until I suddenly transform into alternate reality happy Bri that actually did "get the girl" and lived happily ever after. Please note that at that point I may be in a parallel universe and unable to maintain this site (like I'm doing a good job of that now.... Not....). However if you happen to end up in the same universe, the web page should instantly change, as could the URL . And ideas on this? Anybody already have a time machine available that can take me for a spin? Really I'd be most grateful.
